REWIND programme
REWIND is a monthly, confidential, one-to-one, multi-dimensional approach to recovering from porn and related sexual addictions.
With more than 12 years working in the porn and sexual addiction field, the REWIND programme is our affordable option for recovery. The REWIND programme is not a 'one size fits all' programme, but a bespoke and relational way to deal with your issues.
Getting started
The whole process begins by booking a one-to-one Zoom/Skype type* session with Duncan E. Stafford, a BACP registered and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist, GHR registered hypnotherapist and leading UK therapist working in the area of porn and sexual addiction.
Before your session with Duncan you will be sent a number of questions to think about. It is important to the REWIND process that you have a good idea of what you want to alter in yourself. The video chat session, which lasts 50 minutes, can be quite an intense experience. During the session you will assess whether you really want to change your negative relationship with porn or other sexual acting out. After the session there will be several exercises to engage in.
Next steps
If the session feels productive and comfortable for you, you will be given the opportunity to move onto the main sections of the REWIND programme, which consists of 12 further 50-minute one-to-one online video chat sessions accompanied with follow-up work and exercises that you undertake on your own – between the monthly online conversations.
Fees
The initial consultation fee is £75 followed by 12 monthly payments of £65.
Payments need to be made via BACS transfer or, in agreed circumstances, via PayPal.
*We use 'Skype' as a generic term for video-over-the-internet therapy. There could be possible security issues with the Skype platform when used for therapy, so please talk to us about these issues. We prefer to use VSee a free, telemedicine platform or If you have an Apple product that supports FaceTime, we prefer to use this as it is end-to-end encrypted. WhatsApp is also end-to-end encrypted. Telephone is seen as being secure for the purpose of therapy.
